Jan 25, 2008 - We will begin the RU meetings with the involvement of those
in our congregation, as well as those that might hear of the ministry by
word of mouth.
Feb 22, 2008 - RU Go Live - This will be the advertised start-up date.
Please let us know if you have any questions about Reformers Unanimous.
We will make every effort to address them, as well as communicate them
to our church family through this forum.
Q. Is this something that is open to
members of PBC, or would we just fill ministry positions and minister to
people outside PBC as an outreach?
A. Absolutely, this is open to everyone and anyone. As a matter of fact,
it must first impact the staff and our church. Then and only then, can we
effectively reach out into our community. ... we must all come to grips
with the truth that we are all addicted to something and in turn we all
need it (RU).
Q. Can young people under the age of 18
attend the Reformers Unanimous (RU) meetings?
A. "... you should have those teens (under 18) work with the kidz
club or start a teen group for the first two talks..." Ben Burks,
International Director
Q. If someone wants to be involved with Reformers Unanimous (RU) do they
have to commit to every Friday night?
A. No - There are specific staff positions that require a commitment of
time (i.e. Challenge Leaders/Helpers, Secretary, Director). However,
any and all additional participation does not. We encourage each
person to get involved as much as their schedule allows.
